B'Art – First Edition Successfully Concluded

Nine young talents have enriched the artistic heritage of the Viterbo village

Bassano in Teverina (VT), March 24, 2025 – The first edition of B'Art – Bassano Artist Residencies has come to a successful close. This innovative cultural project was promoted by the La Torre business network in collaboration with the Municipality of Bassano in Teverina and funded by the Lazio Region under the Public Notice for the funding of programs related to Business Networks between Economic Activities.

From March 17 to 24, nine promising artists from different Italian regions experienced an intense creative week, immersed in the evocative setting of the Viterbo village, giving life to works that will become a permanent part of the area's cultural fabric.

The project gave participants the opportunity to explore the rich historical and cultural heritage of Bassano in Teverina, a source of inspiration for their work. The pieces created during the residency will enrich the village's Antiquarium, currently under construction, creating a unique dialogue between the archaeological finds unearthed in the area and contemporary art.

“B'Art represents an ideal bridge between our village's history-rich past and new contemporary artistic expressions,” the organizers point out. “A symbolic encounter that showcases our existing cultural heritage while projecting it into the future.”

A dialogue between contemporary art and tradition

B'Art stands out for its ability to build a bridge between contemporary art and the area's historical and cultural heritage.
